ISCU 2026 Abstract Submission Guidelines
The Organizing Committee of ISCU 2026, hosted by the Korean Association of Clinical Ultrasound, cordially invites the submission of abstracts for presentation at ISCU 2026, to be held on December 5–6, 2026 in Seoul, Korea. All accepted abstracts will be presented as Oral Poster Presentations or in the Poster Exhibition, and outstanding abstracts will be recognized through the Award Program.

Abstract Submission Process
- Open the online abstract submission form.
- Select the preferred presentation type and abstract category.
- Enter the presenting author and co-author information.
- Complete the abstract information.
- Review all entered information carefully and submit the abstract.
- A confirmation e-mail will be sent after successful submission.
Presentation Types
Abstracts may be submitted for one of the following presentation types:
- Oral E-Poster Presentation: Short oral presentation (approximately 10 minutes including discussion; must be conducted in English).
- E-Poster Exhibition: Poster display during the conference.
The Scientific Committee reserves the right to determine the final presentation format based on the review results and program organization.

Guidelines for Abstract Submission
- All abstracts must be submitted online prior to Friday 30th, October, 2026 (KST).
- All abstracts must be written and submitted in clear English.
- The abstract text should not exceed 300 words, excluding the title, authors, and affiliations.
- Only one table or image is allowed.
- The presenting author must be one of the authors listed in the abstract.
- Authors are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all submitted information, including author names, affiliations, and abstract content.
- Abstracts may be modified or withdrawn through the online submission system until October 30, 2026.
- After the acceptance notification, substantial modification or withdrawal will generally not be permitted.
- All presenting authors of accepted abstracts must register for ISCU 2026 by November 6, 2026. Abstracts may be withdrawn from the final program if the presenting author does not complete registration.
- The e-mail provided during submission will be used for the acceptance notification and other updates.
Abstract Structure
Original research abstracts should include the following sections:
Background/Aim
A concise statement of the background, hypothesis, or objective of the study.
Methods
A brief description of the study design, participants, procedures, and analytical methods.
Results
A clear summary of the principal findings. Sufficient data should be provided to allow scientific evaluation of the abstract. Statements such as “results will be presented” are not acceptable.
Conclusions
A concise interpretation of the findings and their clinical or scientific significance.
Scientific Integrity and Use of Artificial Intelligence
Authors are fully responsible for the originality, accuracy, and scientific integrity of all submitted content.
Abstracts containing fabricated, plagiarized, misleading, or unverifiable information, including content resulting from inappropriate use of generative artificial intelligence, may be rejected at the discretion of the Scientific Committee.
Generative AI tools cannot be listed as authors, and the use of any AI-assisted tool does not diminish the authors’ responsibility for the submitted work.
Notification of Acceptance
All submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee according to established review procedures.
The presenting author will be notified of the acceptance status and presentation format by e-mail. The presenting author is responsible for informing all co-authors of the decision.
The Organizing Committee reserves the right to accept or decline submitted abstracts and to determine the final presentation format.
Abstract Modification or Withdrawal
Authors may modify or withdraw a submitted abstract through the online submission system before the submission deadline.
Following notification of acceptance, abstracts should not be modified or withdrawn except under exceptional circumstances. If withdrawal is unavoidable, please contact the ISCU 2026 Secretariat as soon as possible.
